Caney Creek/Brushy Lake
Bankhead National Forest, AL
My first trip out to field test my new dslr camera rewarded me with some decent photos of the upper and lower Caney Creek Falls. Also,
the late summer/fall bloom cycle was well underway, with a variety of sunflowers, lobelia, phlox and asters. Later, we visited Brushy Lake
and fished for a while, catching and releasing a little more than half a dozen bluegill.

Natchez Trace / Duck River
Natchez Trace Parkway, TN
Adventure one of the Crypozoological Response Team, in search of the Duck River Beast. While we found no
conclusive evidence of the creature, we did find plenty of waterfalls and more trail than we could handle on a gorgeous
stretch of the Natchez Trace Parkway.
