Caney Creek,
Bankhead National Forest, AL
My first foray as a hike leader was a great experience, helped by the most sociable and interactive group of hikers who've never met
each other before I've ever been around. We set out on the trail to upper and lower Caney Creek Falls, and enjoyed some lingering
spring wildflowers and Mountain Laurel in full bloom.

Tishomingo State Park, MS
One of the few places I never got around to exploring when I lived in Mississippi was this true gem of a state park.
We had all the disc golf we could handle, and explored a good portion of the trails there. A return trip is definitely warranted!
