2004 Adventures
...the year in review...
This year I slowly began a switch of sorts from biking to hiking more, though every spare minute at college I still spent on the Chief Ladiga Trail. I visited a number of new to me places around, from the Chinnabee Silent Trail near Cheaha State Park, to an old grist mill at Double Bridges, AL and the tallest waterfall I've seen yet at Yellow Creek Falls. Summer would bring a few stays at a cabin at DeSoto State Park, the first state park I've ever explored in depth. The culmination of all this new interest in hiking of course would lead to my first camping trip in September with Ben and a few new friends on the Pinhoti Trail.
